Jinxia Niu is the Program Manager of Digital Engagement at Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) in San Francisco, where she leads pioneering efforts to combat online disinformation in Chinese-speaking communities. For the past two years, she has partnered with GloTech on action research projects aimed at countering the spread of falsehoods among Asian American audiences. Working alongside scholars Jonathan Ong and Wayne Xu, Niu has expanded her work through the UMass MA in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science (DACSS) program, deepening her expertise in data journalism for a transnational fight against digital harms.
