We leverage our community-driven model of critical tech research when collaborating with diverse community leaders, activists, media freedom advocates, and human rights defenders. Beyond top-down policy-level solutions to improve the information environment, we believe in bottom-up solutions that foster transnational solidarity and social and racial justice across the world. We identify and examine emerging modes of activism and advocacy in the digital media context to resist social injustices.
